Research Adventure

I was inspired by some of the posts that Mikko has made, to go out take pictures and to write what came to mind when around places that are hidden, provide shelter from unwanted prying eyes or where in plain sight one can be hidden.

Today's adventure took me around Alphie's Trough and I eventually hope to make my way around the entire campus.

Alphie's Trough in itself is a place hidden in plain sight for there are many students who have no idea this place exists.
Going from there, people do silly things for silly reasons. Rather then settling at this picture, I ventured more so downwards to see what I could find. After stepping in a rabbit hole I found myself feeling totally secluded, protected almost for when you are in the mouth of this almost canyon, you feel as if no one can see you, that you are entirely alone and you forget that there is a walkway looking downwards as shown in the above picture.
I dared to venture only just past the tree shown for the ground was very moist and easily gave away but from this distance you can see that if a pair were dare I say desperate enough or so engulfed in the mood, they may venture to just under the ledge where they would be hidden from the trails, the decked walkway and anyone who may just happen to pass by.
Farther down the path is a little abandoned fortress:
As well as some sort of building I didn't have time to explore:

The trees that had fallen also proved as possible interesting hiding places:
