The Secret of the Blue Room

The Secret of the Blue Room, a 1930's horror film but in personal opinion would be simply categorized as a murder mystery you can talk to. It is in comparison to the first Frankenstein movies where in their day they were truly terrifying because nothing of the sort had been created before. But now in our generations, you can laugh at them, predict and basically find your self saying to the screen "how stupid are you guys?!"

The story begins as the grandfather clock indicates it is midnight and thus Irene's 21st birthday. In the room with Irene are her 'father' and three friends who all wish to propose to her (not the 'father' of course but one may wonder...). However when she outlines that her man must be young, handsome and courageous in order to marry her, the men soon become competitive to show their bravery.  There is a room of the castle known as the Blue Room where three murders took place 20 years ago and ever since whomever has entered the room intending to stay the night, has never made it past 1am. Thinking this the perfect way to prove their bravery, the men each agree to spend one night in the Blue Room.
